Pour House opened on West Main in February 2024, in a building that has stood for about 125 years.

Getting it ready took two years. Three layers of later tile came up by hand, with heat guns, to find the original floor underneath. Every board on the walls was stained by hand.

The idea was a classic Irish pub for downtown Statesboro: pub food from a real kitchen, Guinness on draft, and live music in the front window every weekend. By the end of that first year, Georgia Business Journal had named it Best of Georgia for bars.

Danielle Dudley owns the place. For private events, she’s who to talk to.
